KOLP provides e-mail marketing services to owner managed businesses in the UK.
E-mail marketing provides you with the ability to stay in touch with existing customers, or to send a series of messages to prospective clients who you wish to convert to paying customers. We can setup and manage the entire process for you, so that all you have to do is approve the e-mail copy and graphics, and approve the sending schedule.
We look after compliance with all relevant legislation, setting up the mailing lists and delivery schedules, cleaning the lists and removing dead e-mail addresses, ensuring deliverability, and providing full reporting. We are happy to consult with you in further detail, but briefly, our Do’s and Dont’s of e-mail marketing are as follows:
DO:
- Make sure that the email recipient has provided his or her e-mail address with the knowledge that you will send further e-mail messages;
- Provide a clear and simple unsubscribe link (that works!) on every e-mail message sent out;
- Ensure that all e-mail addresses have been confirmed by the owner clicking a confirmation link, after subscribing to the mailing list;
- Make sure that the e-mail message provides something of value, and is not just annoying clutter in the user’s Inbox. For example, you could provide:
- Promotional coupons
- An expert guide to your service
- Tips and tricks of your trade
- Seasonal advice relevant to your service and your customers (for example, Plumbers advising on boiler servicing in the Autumn, or Locksmiths offering security advice before the Summer holidays)
DON’T:
- Use a list of e-mail addresses that you bought or rented from a third party source;
- Send out lengthy, heavy messages – your e-mail message will be read by a busy customer; if you’re wasting their time, they will probably unsubscribe from your list.
Please note:
This service can be used for sending e-mail marketing messages only to e-mail addresses collected on your previous website or a website that you rent from us. It cannot be used to send messages to lists of e-mail addresses purchased or rented from other sources.
